Packaging and Appearance

The Lip colour comes in a colourful cardboard box and the lipstick comes in a transparent glass bottle so the colour of the lip colour is visible from the tube and the cap has some designs which look very attractive. It has a small doe-foot applicator so it helps in applying the lipstick precisely. The name of the lipstick is mentioned on the cardboard box and also there is a sticker given on the bottom of the lip colour but the font on it is small in size.

My Experience with the Lakme Matte Melt Mini Liquid Lip Colour Brown Souvenir, Nude Umbrella and Wine Voyage

The lip colour has an oily and watery formula so it requires two coats to get the maximum opacity of the colour. The lip colour does take quite some time to dry. Lakme claims them to be transfer-proof but these do transfer slightly. The lip colours do fade from the centre of the lower lip if you eat anything oily. These lip colours are also not smudge-proof. The best part is even if you layer this lip colour  2-3 times it doesn’t feel drying. I would suggest you go with the combo offer because Rs 400 for a 2.4 ml of lip colour is expensive, You can get any full-size lipstick at this price.

Brown Souvenir is a beautiful brown shade suitable for all skin tones. I would suggest applying two coats to the maximum opacity of the colour. The staying power is around 6-7 hours.

Nude Umbrella is a pink nude shade suitable for fair to medium skin tone. It is the lightest shade I have from the three shades that requires 3 coat especially if you have extremely pigmented lips. I would suggest if you have extremely pigmented lips don’t opt for this colour. If you have slightly pigmented lips, this will work for you. This stays for 4-5 hours on the lips.

Wine Voyage is a deep wine colour suitable for all skin tones. If you are someone who likes to wear deep and bold shades then you would definitely love this colour. I would suggest applying two coats to the maximum opacity of the colour. The staying power is around 5-6 hours.

Overall, I really like these lip colours from Lakme as theses are comfortable, stays for a good amount of time and the combo offer is totally worth it.
